Our award winning western. A true vintage style family friendly film with real western action, bad guys, and a love story. A film shot in, and in the style of westerns of the 1940's. This is a must see, must own movie for all western fans. The action is real, the stars do their own stunts, and they are great. Featured on Entertainment Tonight for it's original and true vintage western feel and look, and winning 12 awards from the Southern CA Motion Picture Council for direction, and lookt. It will make you think of cowboy stars of yeateryear. Writer producer directer Rick Groat of Eagles Law, and Devil Rider heads up the cast, along with the whole Groat family including brother Tag Groat of Devil Rider and Terror on Shadow Mountain. A beautiful book made by Rick Groat, and his art students to be produced, printed, and sold for the support of special needs art programs in their local High School.
Illustrating short stories and poems to take an artistic look at the beauty existing in all things.
Book for the support of special needs programs in our local school. My name is Rick Groat, and some of you know me as an actor/film maker. I also teach art to students of all ages, and work as a special needs teacher. I illustrate for children books, and have decided to involve my art students on this book to illustrate some of the poems. My family and I will also contribute in the art and poems. and will direct and design the book. We are professional artists with an art career spanning over 30 years.
The plan for this book is to raise funds to print and sell the book, and use some of the sales after the cost of production and promotions to help support the special needs programs in our school ( Santa Susana High School ), as I feel there is a great need for materials and in other areas.
The book is a beautiful and warm work, with poems and art that illustrate beauty in all nature, earth, and love, and is a book of art by art students ages 12 to 17, who I am so proud of.
My family members and I will also have some art in it as well, plus poems ans short story.
Please support our book, as it will help many who need all of us to be their voice.
The book is : 5 and 1/2″ by 8 and 1/2″ size, and will be 16 pages long, and will fit on any shelf , and will be a great addition to your room.
Filled with original art work in many types of style from Anime, to traditional fine art illustrating warm poems that will touch you heart.
This is more than just a book of art and poems, as it is a voice for kids, as well as adults who many need assistance to even express what they may want you to hear.
I have seen a greater response and accomplishment when these wonderful people can express themselves with art, as sometimes it is the only voice they use.
With the cutbacks on budgets in art programs in our local schools, there are many classrooms without materials. This is a way of helping to solve this need, and to help provide art materials to our school programs, plus have a beautiful book that will promote special needs awareness.
All of the proceeds after costs will go directly into the art programs, and for printing more copies to keep the sales going to the public to keep the art programs going.
